On 29 July 2012, the senior officers of the Grand Priory of America, including the sub–jurisdictional commanders, held a conference call to determine a consensus candidate for Grand Prior for the GPA. Our Bailiff and currently Acting Grand Prior, Ken Moritsugu, was the unanimous recommendation.
Upon being advised of this recommendation, the Grand Master quickly approved this appointment. Ken Moritsugu will be installed as Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of America in our upcoming meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Also, our new Grand Prior, Ken Moritsugu has nominated Herschel Abbott to hold the combined offices of Bailiff/Chancellor, and the Grand Master has also approved this recommendation.
