Information on the Chapter General 2020
Western Ontario Commandery of the Order of St. Lazarus, Canada is please to host the Chapter General in 2020. We will be staying in the luxurious Marriott Fallsview Hotel and Spa overlooking the falls. The Marriott Fallsview has booked off a select numbe r of rooms for us at a special rate of $149 CAN (City-view) or $169 CAN (Falls -view). Please book your rooms ASAP to guarantee the room of your choice. See the attached booking information. The last day to book is April 28, 2020, but rooms will go fast at this popular tourist destination!
In each edition of this newsletter, we will be featuring a different aspect of the Chapter General. We have developed a program that is both historical , informative and sure to please for both Members of the Order and guests.
Highlights Thursday, May 28, 2020 : 4-6 PM Grand Prior’s Welcome Reception followed by an optional three course dinner in the Barrel Cellar of Peller Estates Winery in Niagaraon-the-Lake, one of the premier wineries in Canada. Friday, May 29, 2020 : Postulant’s Breakfast and Conference for all delegates followed by the Vigil and Oh Canada, Eh? Dinner and Show.
Saturday, May 30, 2020: AGM in the morning for members of the Order, with optional Niagara Parks VIP Tour for guests with private guide and transportation to White Water Walk, Mackenzie Printery and the famous Butterfly Conservatory, followed by the Investiture in the afternoon and Grand Magistral Reception and Gala Ball, with the 50 th Grand Master of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, Francisco de Borbon Graf von Hardenberg.
